It's First Sunday...Communion Sunday in many churches around the world and our attire for today was black and white.
I love layers. One of my tricks is to take a dress and rock it as a top with a long skirt. The top you see is actually a dress that stops mid-thigh. I love the color block on this dress but not the length so I wear it as a top. I personally don't like to wear slips so this helps hide lines from undergarments.
In addition to layers, I also love clothing that creates a classy but sassy silhouette. This fitted dress works perfectly with the fitted fishtail skirt. I just had to make sure the two blacks were the same color. (Don't you hate having to match two different black garments??)
This chunky necklace from Tracy Lynn added the right amount of drama, and you wouldn't believe I picked up these bangles from Walmart for like $3.00!
How about these pictures though? My eleven year was my photographer again today and she helped scout this location. This corn field is near my parent's home and I'm sure people were wondering why I was standing in their corn...but...yea, I really don't have anything to say about that, lol.
Today my pastor, Bishop Dane Coleman, preached his face off! The title was, "It Shall Be All Well," and came out of 2 Kings 4:8-37. Here are some points to carry with you this week:
1. Move Out of Your Comfort Zone.
If you want the next level of blessings and favor you have to move in faith.
2. Testing often comes in the area(s) where you are most vulnerable.
If you went through a test that was easy for you to pass...it wouldn't be much of a test, right? We need to understand that there are things we will go through that are sent to make us better. Keep pushing and have faith!
3. For your miracles to manifest you must face your fears.
Face your fear and watch how God moves!
I don't know why I thought I could walk across the street WITHOUT shoes in 80 degree weather!!! Listen, I'm a Country girl at heart and we run around without shoes on. But this...this was not smart. My feet are still tender on the bottom, lol!
l am a little nerdy, a little quirky, a little glam, with a whole lot of personality! A wife with four children and a furry puppy, there is never a dull moment.
